Commercial Description:
An American-style wheat ale brewed with 30% malted wheat and 2 row barley. Low hopping rates allow the refreshing aroma and citrus flavor of a late addition of lemon grass to dominate. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. 2000 North American Brewers Asc. Gold Medal

From the Jug at the GABF Colorado Convention Center, Denver 10/10/2008 Some spice aroma. Golden coloured and hazy in appearance. Smooth on the palate with a little ginger spice flavour. Hint of dryness in a crisp and creamy finish.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with kp (thanks!). Bottle labeled best within 4 months of August ’05. Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with an averated sized white head. Aromas of wheat and citrus - both on the weak side. Tastes of the same and weak like the aroma. Overall a boring beer.

Bottle... Looks like pear juice with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. Tons of cheap perfume and mango in the nose. Funky. Perfectly balanced flavor. Thin with same notes as aroma. Light-bodied and fizzy. Finishes bone dry and weird. Thanks to growler for the bottle!

Bottle, thanks to Papsoe for sharing. Clear, almost golden pour, and a minimal white head. Looks hazy in the bottle. Lemongrass dominates the aroma and flavor, but it is also fruity, slighlty soapy and with pale malt. Medium, dry and slightly dusty mouthfeel. A quite special beer, but feels refreshing, and I bet it goes down easy on a hot day. (071005)

Bottled: Light yellow colorued. Clear. White small head. Sweet and hayish aroma. Bland. Flavour is watery and very light hopped. Is thin bodied and easy to forget. These American Wheats keeps disappointing me.
