Commercial Description:
An American-style wheat ale brewed with 30% malted wheat and 2 row barley. Low hopping rates allow the refreshing aroma and citrus flavor of a late addition of lemon grass to dominate. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. 2000 North American Brewers Asc. Gold Medal

12 oz bottle. Another so-so beer. I like wheat beers but this one left a little to be desired. But unlike other Tommyknockers, literally only a little, other left far too much. The appearence is basic, the aroma is sweet, citric, floral, and sugary (not overly appitizing). The flavor is lots of cereal.

Bottle: Poured a yellow color with a lot of white head. The aroma was wheat, grass, and malts. The flavor was malts, lemon, wheat, and honey. Overall, I’m seriously thinking all of the Tommyknocker beers are starting to taste the same.

The aroma has hints of citrus wih very light notes of hops and no malts. It is a light tan in color fairly cloudy. It is easily drinkable and quite thirst quinching, just as good as I remember it all those years ago in the hot arizona sun. Thanks Robertsreality.

Very weak and tasteless wheat beer. Standard appearance of a wheat beer but not really much taste. The lemon overpowered everything. Frightfully disappointing.

Bottle from Total Wine. Pours a hazy golden color with a bit of head to it. Not too much in the aroma category, but the taste is okay at best. Meh.

Looks like apple juice mixed with orange juice. Not much for smell. Tastes a little citrusy. Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about. Definitely not the best of the Tommyknocker brews.

Slightly hazy gold/orange pour with mild head. Not much aroma. A little citrusy a little hops. No yeastiness, banana or clove. Not bad not great. Also not harsh like some American wheats can be.

12 oz bottle. Pours pale hazy yellow with a decent crisp white head. Smells wheaty, floral, and candy-ish. Tastes like wheat and sugar. Some kind of candy sweetness that is unusual, but not bad.
