The aroma was strong with notes of lemon, orange peel and citrusy hops. The flavor was much the same, citrus, lemon, wheat and maybe a touch of spice. dwaggs2 (549), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Bottle. Poured a hazy gold color. Decent head, but went quickly. Aroma was wheat, grass, and malts. Flavor was overpowered by the lemon flavor. It was a good thing though. A different wheat beer. It was actually very good. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 7, 2005 An average wheat beer at best. Pours a cloudy straw color with a billowing white head that quickly vanishes. A slight citrusy flavor soon gives way to a watery mouthfeel. This would probably be quite refreshing on a hot summer afternoon but I wouldn’t invest in more of it with so many superior alternatives available. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2006 Bottle - mostly wheat in the aroma. American wheat ... what a boring style. That said, this one is not bad. Cloudy gold body with a white head. A nice sweetness at the sides of the tongue dominate the finish. I guess that is the lemongrass. Considering the style, I really enjoyed this brew. DerBiermeister (516), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jun 19, 2009 Smells yeasty. Party cloudy and yellow with a white head. Citrusy and bland taste with a thin palate. Summer beer, but not too exciting. Rynoplasty (513), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 22, 2007 Pours a hazy golden/amber with a medium sized white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is of pale malts with a hint of citrus. Taste is also of pale malts, but with wheat as well as the citrus flavor from the lemongrass. Overall, a good refreshing spring/summer brew. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 30, 2007 Pale hazy yellow. Smells a little like banana, but not much. Blah, the flavor is awful. Salty and funky with a hint of artificial something. Yuck. NOT a good wheat.
