Nov 14, 2005 This beer poured a sickly cloudy orange with visible beer pulp. It had a quickly dissipitating head. The taste isn’t bad but not really wheaty. It’s rather hard to define. It’s rather bland and quite forgetable. The purported lemon flavor doesn’t show through until the aftertaste. The whole beer is saved at the last minute by the lemon after-taste.

Aug 21, 2008 Beerbaron617 is the man. I was excited to try this beer, but was disappointed again. Do people really buy this again and again, or do they rely on one time customers?

Jan 8, 2009 Pours a cloudy golden color. Aroma of lemon, grasses, and wheat. A little light on the flavor - not nearly as much flavor as some other wheat beers I typically enjoy. Not much of a finish either - rather weak. I’ll drink it if I get a couple in the Trail Mix pack that Tommyknocker puts out but will not go out of my way to buy a full sixer of this one.

Jun 28, 2005 not very hazy fo being unfiltered. a tad bit of yeastyness in the aroma accompanied by citrus(not from hops, but from the lemon) not sure how i felt about the lemon citric dominance in this brew, but it proved to be refreshing at times. highly carbonated some dusty hops and more lemon in the finish. a so so beer.

Apr 6, 2007 Pale somewhat clear pale yellow pour. Small white head fades fast. Aroma is mostly lemon with just a note of hops. Flavor is true to the aroma, with a somewhat malty finish. The beer is highly carbonated. There are better, but with the large lemony flavor, this would be better on a hot summer night.

Jan 20, 2007 Hazy, brownish gold color with a big head that faded very fast. Very light wheat and lemon aroma. Taste is lemon and wheat but with a strange perfumey, vegetal taste in the back that pretty much kills it for me. With such a weak hops character and low carbonation this beer just seems bland and watery. This is probably my least favorite wheat so far.

Oct 25, 2005 WTF? So I bought the Tommyknocker sampler and all SUCKED, minus maybe the dopplebock. This one looks bad, orange. Theres almost no aroma, maybe cookies? The taste is all lemon-grass with a little wheat. Are there any hops here? I understand being unfiltered, but WTF are these little black grains in my glass? Black? Fuk Tommyknocker!

May 3, 2009 Not that great. Pours a nice hazy amber color with thick white head, but it goes downhill from there. Aroma smells moldy and flavor has nothing really tasty about it. Says its brewed with lemongrass, but I tasted nothing citrus about it. Easy to drink but prob wont drink it again.
