It didn’t become a hoppy mess of an American wheat, but was very lemon-grass flavored. Hard to taste or see past the lemongrass. Sloppy. Body wasn’t really thick, but it was cloying thick... or, rather, annoying thick feeling, sticky. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2005 This beer pours gold with a slight chill haze that fades as it warms up. The aroma is apparently devoid of all hop aroma. Slight maltiness, vague fruitiness (almost like the dried rasberry aroma from the raspberry black tea my wife drinks.) Not bad, but infinitely forgettable. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

A deep hazy amber color with a thn head. Had a deep malty flavor with the wheat coming through. This was a refreshing and had lots of citrus notes in the aroma and flavor. This was a very nice beer to drink. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 31, 2006 Color is hazy gold. Aroma is sweet and reminds me of . Flavor in kind of orangy and has hints of corriander which reminds me of a Belgian White The finish tastes like lemon grass, but isn’t overpowering. No bitterness at all. A bit thin on the palate. Over all this beer isn’t too bad and is really kind of refreshing.
12 oz bottle (best before 9/25/2006), $1.10 (out of a mixed 12-pack) from The Party Source. Miksu (2234), Jyväskylä, Finland

Grassy and grainy aroma with watermelon, sea air and glue, the arma is slightly off. Sweetish, grainy, honeyish, bready and somewhat fruity flavor with orange marmelade, mango and apricot. No hops. Glue like off flavor. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Hazed, pale straw gold appearance, copious carbonation, smallish head, especially for the style, drizzles down in no time.
Funky nose, but not fresh...stale clove and squashed banana...with a side order of plastic....not great. The aroma is usually what I like best in a wheat ale, so this holds little promise.
Taste: ew...not good. Plastic feeling continues in the flavor, as if something is seriously amiss...none of the special, sparkling associations one enjoys in a wheat are anywhere around. Dull, drab, listless, with a flaccid flavor, there’s nothing to like here...in fact, it’s terrible...yuk...and I’ve got four more of these to get through...yikes...poor me...
Nothing more to say. Big disappointment. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 1, 2003 Lemon-colored and clear-bodied with no wheaty haze. Abundant carbonation. Aroma of stale beer and pine cleaner. Smells like beer-stained linoleum. Sweet, tart, and artificially fruity tasting. Syrupy mouthfeel. The cartoonish packaging serves as a warning that I failed to heed. Another drain-pour from this brewery. BDR (2168), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
