Commercial Description:
An American-style wheat ale brewed with 30% malted wheat and 2 row barley. Low hopping rates allow the refreshing aroma and citrus flavor of a late addition of lemon grass to dominate. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. 2000 North American Brewers Asc. Gold Medal

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a shaker. This beer poured a hazy golden color with a thin, off-white head that quickly faded away. No lace. The aroma consisted of grass, lemon, wheat, and some bready yeast notes. The flavor was made up of light lemony citrus, wheat malt, and some yeast. The mouthfeel was light-bodied and crisp with adequate carbonation. This was a well crafted wheat. Decent enough.

The color is lightly tinted orange and cloudy. the nose is oranges, floral, wheat and some hints of malt. The taste is wheated with overtones of citrus little malt and a slight hint of hops. Overall it is a good beer.

Bottle. Poured a hazy gold color. Decent head, but went quickly. Aroma was wheat, grass, and malts. Flavor was overpowered by the lemon flavor. It was a good thing though. A different wheat beer. It was actually very good.

Bottle from ZindeHey, thanks. Hazy golden yellow with next to no head. Aroma of malt, lemongrass and honey. Taste of honey, malt, wheat and mild lemon grass. It’s okay but nothing I’d seek out.

Quality wheat beer. It’s pretty run of the mill. Good balance of wheat and lemons. But it is very average.

Cloudy golden color with an amber tint and a medium off white head. Aromas of wheat and citrus. Body is moderately malty and the flavor has hints of wheat, yeast and lemon grass with a slightly tart finish.

Big fizzy head dies instantly, like 7-Up; slightly cloudy honey color. Interesting but weak aroma of lemongrass, honey, wheat, orangepeel. Flavor quite citrusy, acidic, reasonably malty, ok. Ehhh.

This pours a golden color with a thin white head. It left a little lacing around the glass. The flavors were really fruity and sweet, with a little hint of bread and yeast. The aroma featured slight notes of grapefruit and grass. The body was fairly heavy for a wheat beer. There was just nothing outstanding about this. It was neither really good or really bad. It was pretty indifferent. I’d drink it if it were offered, but I wouldn’t go out and buy a sixer of it.
