I got a dusty light aroma, kinda had a fruity pebbles hint to it. Didnt have anything to speak of in the light body except for being light. jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 17, 2007 Murky yellow orange color out of the bottle with only a small white head. Thin citrus nose with a little sour to it. Some lemon citrus notes, some doughy yeast, and light grain. Actually very little flavor at all. Clean finish. Something a little funky in the background. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 1, 2004 I am not a cosistent consumer of wheat-style brews to begin with, with the exception of the dunkel-style, so the overall impression of this TommyKnocker example is that of average as compared to other American wheats that I have sampled to this day. A bit watery at the start, and a light bark-like taste coupled with virtually no staying prescence on the palate. Holdwine (908), Beertimore, Maryland, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 5, 2006 About as average as you can get. Nice citrus notes and an abundance of lemon. Soda pop feel. Watery. Not much going on. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2003 This brew pours a large head of fine and medium sized white bubbles with a cloudy straw yellow body. It has a mild bread-fruit aroma with a slight initial tingle then its fruit flavor and the lemon come on. Acceptable, but somehow I just don't care that ,much for the lemon flavoring. ante (2948), Stockholm, Sweden
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy pale amber colour with a low creamy white head. Weak aroma of bakers yeast pears and caramel. Lightt-bodied with clean notes of yeast and mild lemon. Short finish with touches of bakers yeast, lemon and caramel. yayforbeer (647), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 12, 2006 Looks OK. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Not much aroma, a bit musty, wheaty, and a hint of diesel fuel. Flavor is watery American Wheat, smooth and drinkable, but it has an artificial taste similar to that in the dopplebock they brew, only less intense. Lemongrass on the finish. Overall its not as bad as I was expecting but never rises above mediocre. The label is more of the stupidity that you would expect from a brewery that calls itself “Tommyknocker”. I’m glad I only bought a single instead of a six pack. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 4, 2004 Muddy day old toilet water.
Lovely subtle fruitiness in the aroma with sour peach, banana and tangerine. The lemon grass is also very apparent as well. Bready maltiness is present.
The taste is so unbelievably lacking in body, flavor and complexity. Front is nothing, absolutely nothing. The lemon grass becomes more apparent in the mid-palate. Different light fruitiness comes along on the finish.
