Deep golden color......very hazy......almost completely opaque. Thin head......fresh, slightly citrus aroma. Sweet citrus notes dominate the front......slightly crisp mouthfeel. Somewhat of a malt back that finishes clean.

Jul 6, 2008 Wheat beers are supposed to be light with some variable citrus, mild spice, and a gifft of refreshment on a warm to hot day. This was too light even for the style and had none of the other attributes. Have they changed the recipe since 2000?

Jul 6, 2008 12oz bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy yellow golden with a thin white, frothy white head. Aroma is wheat, grain, sour ripe fruit, grass, honey, malty sweetness. Flavor is most bready with notes of honey, sweet malt, faint spice, slight tangy citrus. Light-bodied, slightly watery with some slight notes of bitterness of finish. Probably better than it is rated here.

Jul 1, 2008 Slightly spicy apple cider aroma. Hazy light orange color with some white foam. Apple flavor with a moderate palate.

Jun 25, 2008 Soft fruit and citrus nose. Hazy amber color, medium head. Mild sweetness, some lemony tartness, slight bitterness. Silky mouth feel, decent carbonation, citrusy finish. Really refreshing and different wheat beer.

Jun 21, 2008 On tap at the Brewery. Definitely not a hefe from the motherland. Interesting with out of place notes. There is no real development of ripe bananas or even, (in a good way) bubble gum flavours. Light and new in all aspects, worth a try when in CO.
