Commercial Description:
We brew this light bodied, German ale with pale and wheat malts, with an addition of German Hallertau hops. Fermentation at a lower temperature and cold conditioning result in a crisp unintimidating beer.

Had this beer on 5/2/2000. Aroma is a slightly sweet malt scent. Color is a Bright gold with a very slight haze to it. Carbonation is light with a thin head. Taste is light, crisp and clean. Starting with a light body that goes down crisp. finish is is clean with a light hop bitterness backing a light malt flavor.

Medium gold color, small head. Lighter bodied ale. Fairly mild, malty and slightly hoppy. Light and refreshing taste, good mild flavor. Mouthfeel is smooth and full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly malty with a touch of sweetness.

Pours cloudy pale yellow, sour aroma, nasty lemon-fruity sour taste, I couldn’t finish the bottle.

I have a bias against most beers you can see through, this one is adequate as they go, much prefer the darker pale and nut brown. Nice malt start, some hops, but a bit of a disappointment, had both the bottle and draught version, neither changed my opinion. Good but! light!
