Aug 6, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours dark brown. Thin, smallish white head that disappears quickly. Mouthfeel is unbelievably hollow. I don’t quite know where the maple syrup went in this one.

Aug 4, 2007 Updated: Aug 10, 2007Dark yet transluscent maroon colored pour with a light beige head. Oddly sweet maple smell, with a light sour vinegar smell. Not good. Taste is basically nutty, light, smooth and boring. I bought 3 other beers from this brewery and I hope this isn’t their best... I really wanted to like this, and was drawn in from the bottle, but it really wasn’t good. Didn’t finish and wouldn’t get again.

Jul 22, 2007 Terrible. Pours a dark reddish color with no head. Tastes like water... a drop of maple syrup... and some hazelnuts. How did this win awards? BOOOOOO.

Jun 26, 2007 pours a deep brown with a small head that disperses immediatly probably because of the maple syrup. smells bready, some nut and chocolate and maple. tastes kind of flat. gets better as it warms up. dry hoppy finish. s’alright
