Commercial Description:
Oaked Butt Head combines our award winning Butt Head Bock with finely toasted oak. The vanilla and spice character of the oak melds with the malty caramel flavors of our dopplebock

Crushed with Jakebra at Falling Rock. Cool brew. Coffee, caramel, some smokiness and oak on the nose. Flavor just as complex. Interesting brew that I enjoyed.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy tan head and amber color. Aroma is wood/grainy, rich medium malt-cocoa/caramel, dark fruit, alcohol. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, vanilla/wood, dark fruit esters, some alcohol.

Bottle. Bonus in a trade from BeerandBlues2. Pours amber with almost no head. Aroma of oak, caramel, and just a lot of malt. A little sweet. I’m currently watching my Illinois team getting destroyed by Western Kentucky...so I need about 12 more of these.

Bottle courtesty of aplusbreaks. Thanks, man! Pours a ho-hum average amber with an anemic head and a strong aroma of oaked molasses and caramel, with just a slight touch of butterscotch. Flavor is a rush of port wine oak and caramel, with just a hint of molasses to balance everything out. Flavor fades too quickly; I wanted it to linger a little longer. Feels a bit slippery on the tongue but nothing too spectacular. Overall, another winner from Tommyknocker. I don’t know what it is about this brewer that I like, but I like it.

Bottle. Pours clear brown with a small, fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, nutty), light hops (grass), average yeast (leather, earth) with notes of alcohol, dates, and wood. Medium bodied, slick texture, lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Single purchased at friendly mini mart in Lakewood. Pour is a beautiful reddish brown with a thin creamy head on top. Aroma is a hefty malt scent with a little bit of smoked salami in there. Flavor is a medium fullness malt chewyness with some caramel and spice. God, this beer makes me want a sammich....

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of sweet malts, slight oak, slight candi sugar, light burnt caramel, slight alcohol, and a hint of smoke. Poured copper/amber in color with a small, off-white head that lasted around the edges. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet. Tastes of sweet malts, light bourbon, slight vanilla, oak, wood, caramel, light smoke, slight booze, slight toffee, and a hint of salt. Light to medium body. Thin, slightly chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Cloying sweet, caramel and slight oak finish.

Bottle. Pours a fairly transparent ruby brown with a film of a tan head. Aromas are an odd mix of liquor, earth, toffee and malt vinegar. Flavor is a gunky mix of sweet toffee, whiskey, oak and bandaids in the aftertaste. This is headed for the drains of PA...
