Dec 1, 2007 Had this beer on 5/2/2000. Aroma is a slightly sweet almost wine like malt scent. Color is a bright golden brown with light carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light with a nice nutty flavor. Starting with light/medium body that goes down with a creamy malt feel. Finish is a light nutty malt flavor backed by a mild bitterness. Overall it’s a well rounded brew that is very drinkable.

Nov 21, 2007 Lightly caramelized aroma, with what I almost think is a phenolic touch, perhaps somewhat soapy. Flavor is equally caramel-soapy with just a hint of bubble gum. Semi-sweet finish. Kinda weird. Copper color, huge almost gushing head formed a thick meringue. This initially gave the impression it might be infected, and some of the unusual phenolic like flavors might just be part of that.
