Bottle. Pours amber/orange. Minimal head. Quite malty on the nose with hints of Dawn dishsoap. Starts out quite thin on the palate with no flavor developing until it hits the back of my tongue. And even then it’s got a slight hint of caramel and malt. Finishes clean.

Light copper color, very short lived whitish head. Citrus, malt, and hops aroma. Somewhat hops and malty flavored, but overall nothing special standing out. It’s enjoyable to drink, but nothing I would go out of my way to get.

Pour is orange hued with a small fast fading off-white head. The aroma is pretty typical, caramel malts. Flavor is better then aroma leads one to expect. It is nice mellow hops, with a good caramel malt to balance it. The carbonation on this beer is high, not a plus for me. The finish is a little slow, but clean.

Copper colored and hazy, with a thin off-white head. Caramel malt aroma, a bit sour. Sweet, with a medium body, with an almost molasses flavor.

Cloudy red with thin head. Sweet malt notes in the aroma. Full flavour with a nice balance of hops & malts. Fairly smooth with a mild bitter finish.

Not your average lager! It was hard to ascertain the color since I drank it from a brown bottle, but the head is fairly thick and frothy. Aroma is strong and pleasant, much better than that of most lagers I have sampled. The taste is strong, not complex but pleasant, with some surprising hoppy overtones.

I’ve simply had too many beers which taste like this. There are good qualities: a fine body and some enjoyable malt elements. But there is this sort of dirty crystal malt thing that I simply don’t like. Personal taste, I suppose, but I’m sick to death of stewed fruit flavor.
