| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Rather middle of the road lager, not so dark as the boys at Tommyknocker would lead you to believe. The floral hops go oddly with the heavily biscuity flavor. Boring more than offensive, but that’s bad enough. Braudog (3783), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 22, 2007 Bottle: Poured an amber color, alright. Average head. Caramel aroma with a slight flowery hoppiness. Very bready character, almost milky. Bit dry. Very light maltiness and an even lighter hop mustiness. OK, but did nothing to really grab my attention. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 21, 2007 Light amber pour with a one-finger, white, fizzy-smooth head; head dissipates into a small ring. Aroma citrus; floral; bread. Flavor bready malt; sweet up front with a crisp, dry, very lightly hoppy finish; hint of orange. Medium body; relatively flat. Easy-drinking session beer, but there is so much better out there. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Updated: Mar 22, 2007Pouring it into a pint glass vigorously generates a muddy amber color with a tall off white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma is weak, but I detect some grainy malts and soured fruit, plus a healthy dose of nothing. Flavor is typical Tommyknocker, bland, weak malt profile, barely detectable hops for the style. Finishes light and dull, a lingering caramel malt presence for a brief moment. Nothing overtly offensive, just plain boring. Too generic and uninspired. Moving on... twindadplus2 (418), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Nice brownish red color with a small but firm head. Aroma is roasted malt and a mild bit of hops. Taste is nutty caramel malt with some lightly piney hops mixed in. A touch of hops in the finish that fades into more roasted malt. Smooth and medium bodied for a very satisfying palate. A good beer. Rynoplasty (547), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 27, 2006 Pours amber with about one finger of head. Aroma is a little hoppy with some caramel malt as well. Taste is all caramel malt with some hop finish. Overall a decent beer, but doesn’t really stand out too much. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Dec 9, 2006 Bottle. Pours light amber with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy, with a hint of sour fruit. Flavor is nutty, both slightly sweet and slightly sour, with a little caramel. Very nice smooth medium-bodied mouthfeel, but otherwise pretty boring, and even a little bit off-tasting. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 5, 2006 12 oz bottle. Hazy amber with a thin off white head. Sweet caramel malt nose. Light sweet caramel malt flavor. Like most other Tommyknockers, weak flavor, inoffensive.
