Found this one bottled in Belvidere, Illinois. Clear, browish red pour with a very thin, lacy head. Aroma is clean but nondescript, notes of vienna malts, caramel and apple sauce. Not terrible.

I didn’t have high expectations, but this one was rather tasty, shouting to me that it was a lager rather than an ale (thought I bought an amber ale until that first sip). The vienna malts were at the fore, bready sweet, toasty, with mild nuts underneath, even a hint of spicing typical of an amber lager. All malt, but smooth and tasty.

Pours a nice medium amber color. Nice roast aromas with some hops. Flavor has a roast almost burnt grain flavor to it, finishes with a nice bitterness.

Murky brown/amber color. Aroma reminds me of sweet potatoes. Flavor is kind of bland with just a bit of caramel in there. It reminds me of one of my first extract home brew experiments from many years ago when I was just starting into homebrewing - not so good. Slightly hoppy and astingent finish. This beer seems a bit watery as well. 12 oz bottle (best before 9/26/2006), $1.10 (out of a mixed 12-pack) from The Party Source.

12oz bottle. Poured a deep and slighty hazy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of vegetables, toasted malts, and some citrus. Tastes of toasted malts, caramel and those damn vegetables. Thinner body.

Copper/red pour with a decent middlin head. Vegatable aroma with some yeast. Decent carbonation, sour in the middle. Some soapiness. Finish is sour and slightly bitter. Crumby beer in an already crumby style.

(can) Light clean and mostly malty. Straightforward easy drinking mellow lager. No thrills no frills, but I do like the cans convenience.

Bottle. Cap practically fell off, no hiss. Pours a dark red orange. Light sweet and citrus aroma. Taste is orange, mild sweetness, grassy hops. Very oxidized. Dunno if this was a bad bottle or what. I can’t finish it.
