| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 19, 2006 Clear red -amber topped by a thin white head. The aroma is caramel-malty and some soapiness. The flavor is straight up caramel with some sour notes. Not too much going on here. Palate is thin and a bit spritzy. If it were not for the caramel aroma and flavor this one would have been a flat out drain pour. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2006 Very plain. Fairly good palate, and a light malt aroma and flavor. It is a simple beer and there isn’t much more to say that that; nothing wrong at least. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Small head over a dark amber brew.
Honey and maple with a bready, cookie aroma. Lightly sweet but lacking any real depth of flavor with a watery palate.
Not really bad, just plain and boring. CMUBEERMAN (415), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 22, 2006 I was looking for some ratings that covered how sour this beer was...only found a few, so maybe the bottle was a little too old (but from the looks of things...this funky sourness might have made it more standable). Pours a swampy pale orange with a fastly disappearing head. Smell is very sour and a little bit yeasty. The flavor is very sour and fruity...a little bit of bad tasting malt...this is a lager? Mouthfeel was insanely carbonated...probably infected? Strykzone (1504), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 18, 2006 Pours a medium brown color with virtually no head. Also noticeable are "floaties" in the glass. Aroma is malt and fruits, especially raisen. Well, that is where the good stuff stopped. Just had a taste and it has some very confusing flavors. It reminds me on someone’s first attempt with their new homebrew kit. Is this beer flat? There is no carbonation at all. This might be the worst crafted beer I have ever tasted. What a shame. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Light and easy drinking lager. A good blend of hops with not much aftertaste. I agree with the assessment that it is like Yuengling with a more expensive price tag. jimmyh221 (157), Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2006 The appearance had a cloudy amger color with a small head. There was not a bitter aftertaste, but it seemed a little flat tasting. jefcon (1009), Arlington, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 27, 2006 More orange than amber with a big soap-bubble head that leaves some lacing on the side of the glass. Aromas seem a little off, soap, oatmeal, chocolate chip cookie, some grap-ey alcohol. Palate is dry and thin, with a sweet malty finish. Lots of carbonation. Cherry gumdrop flavor is somewhat artificial.
