Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Nov 1, 2009 Clouded orange haze. Sweet hoppy aroma with sappy scents. Perfumy taste with sweet and bitter hops. Flavorful yet fading. Not bad but loses it’s appeal pretty quickly. JediMindTricks (239), Hampton, Virginia, USA Oct 25, 2009 This is an easy-drinking pale ale. Not much pronounced in the flavor, but ok for a light, summer beer.
bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA Oct 14, 2009 Bottle from Beer Geek. Pours copper with a foamy beige head. Floral/citrus aromas over some roasted malt. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Swear that beyond citrus there’s a touch of strawberry. Not all that bitter but a good deal of hop. Nice drink. TampaBrew (726), Tampa, Florida, USA Oct 12, 2009 Pours deep orange with a foamy off-white head. Nose is grapefruit, some floral noble hops, mild spice. Flavor is spicy hops, sweet fruity malt. Full mouth feel. Nice american style British Pale. Prometheus (97), Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA Oct 2, 2009 Not a bad pale ale. Sweet, hoppy.
Pours orange with a small head.
Hoppy smell, hoppy taste, but not too strong in either department. bburychka (55), Pennsylvania, USA Sep 25, 2009 Excellent pale ale. Tastes similar though to Tommyknocker’s wheat ale (which is a good thing). One of my favorites that I have tried so far in my beer tasting adventure. puggy211 (576), cordova, Tennessee, USA Sep 21, 2009 Nice pour with a bit of cloudiness to it, good lacing with a small head. Sweet aroma dominated with the hops. Aftertaste is hoppy, but not unpleasant. theisti (1638), Leawood, Kansas, USA Aug 28, 2009 12 oz bottle purchased at Olive or Twist in Platte City, Missouri. January 2009 notched on the label. Pour is hazed golden orange with a one inch off white head. Good lacing coats the glass. Nice looking. Aroma of toasty earthy maltiness with sweet fruit hoppiness present behind that. A bit of woody resin in there as well. Taste is big caramel malt out of the gate, tempered a bit by the resin hops and sweet fruit. Caramel is present in the back. Palate is low carbonation, medium bodied, coats the mouth nicely. Overall a nice take on a style I like.
