Goes straight down the middle of the glass and you’re left with an orangish tinted pale, slightly cloudy beer, with a 1/16 inch head, that surprisingly leaves some lacing as it draws down. The aroma is undeniably hoppy like an IPA and sweet too. It tastes good like strong malt and hops, but more hops than malt. Only problem is is a little (and too) flat. The mouthfeel is runny (pronounced watery), inspite of being full flavored. Some carbonation (bite) would help this one out a lot. The more of it you have, it kinda adds a celery-like aroma and taste to what’s already there, mentioned above. natejgood (190), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Pours a hazy amber with small bubbles and almost no head. It smells like sweet hops, grass, and citrus fruit. The flavor is pretty fruity with a bit of hop bite to it. The aftertaste is a bit bitter, but not in a bad way. Not a bad beer, but there are so many flavors in the beer that it gets a little muddled at times. daknole (3023), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

Small head poured. It has a definite hop flavor on the finish but not too much. Easy and smooth. Nice. djd07 (753), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Bottle from J’s Bistro. Pours a cloudy orange golden color with a small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is very fruity with floral notes. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is very hop with a bitter finsh. jkwalking05 (1485), Arlington, Texas, USA

It acts more like an IPA than anything else. It is hoppy but not overpowering. Little head and a bit cloudy in appearance. Definetely enjoyable. TonyDiUlio (197), New Jersey, USA

With that said, i think this is one of my favorite Pale ales. Great flavor, easy to drink, good alcohol content, overall good beer KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Best of the bunch. Pours a nice copper color with a fluffy head that lasts. Lots of hops, but not necessarily by Colorado standards. Citrus, flowers, bitterness, etc. I agree with a couple of the other raters comparing it to Sierra Neveda. Although I think it lacks a little of Sierra’s flavor punch.
