| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Pours a nice copper orange color, with decent head. Nose is flowers and citrus. Flavor is also flowers and citrus, but good, mild, with a generous amount of hops but well balanced with the malt. It was worth trying, and the comparison to sierra nevada is apt. papat444 (17), St-Constant, Quebec, Canada

Bottled Sept. 2006.
Poured from a 12oz. bottle.
Aroma: Light bitterness with a damp-like quality?
Appearance: Orange-gold color, fair-sized head with lots of tiny bubbles. So far so good.
Flavor: Mild, bitter taste, medium-bodied.
Palate: Not much of an aftertaste but probably due to age. Surprised that a certain bitterness remained after so long.
Overall: Not bad by any stretch but i did find it kind of average. I will give this beer some positive notes because even though it is a bit old, i found it was not as bad as i thought it would be. I would like to revisit this one to be able to compare a fresher batch.

The smell is citrus, hops, and yeast. The taste is very hoppy, clean with a bitter finish. It is similar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. travita (1960), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Somewhat hazy. A little golden to orange with a decent lasting head. Sweet citrus head almost seems more like an IPA than a pale ale. Decently hoppy.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 8, 2008 Light amber with a frothy head. Cascade hop smell with a light herbal sweetness. Decent taste of biscuity malts and, mildly bitter herbal hops. Has a mostly dry, lightly bitter finish. Not bad.101606 45thstbrewer (94), Conowingo, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 1, 2008 This Pale Ale is an amber/copper color with an off-white head that fades quickly. The flavor is very well balanced with the malts and hops. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Feb 1, 2008 Grossly contaminated. Gushed all over the counter when opened. Someone needs to address a sanitation issue, apparently. Certified drain pour. efrumtheidiot (190), Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jan 31, 2008 pours a hazy dark amber with an off-white head. heavy, wet aroma has tea, grassy/straw, and some pine. taste is grassy, some citrus, pine, mild hops, some nice sweet undertones. mid-bodied with a full, fluffy mouthfeel. bitterish finish with some hoppy citrus. pretty nice lacing. i like this brew. not my favorite EPA, but a good one. i think it leans a bit more towards being an APA, but that’s just my opinion. would go great as a session brew, or a mid-afternoon refresher on a hazy summer day.
