Aroma smells like wet crystal malt grains. Very british like mouthfeel and light texture, maybe with a tad more carbonation. Flavor of butterscotch and caramel off set by mild herbal and spicy hops. Bitter finish, with some graininess some distracting notes of hairspray. Aggie80 (713), Michigan, USA

Sweet aroma dominated with the hops. Aftertaste is hoppy, but not unpleasant. TomDecapolis (3218), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a bubbly off white slightly lacing head. Aroma of caramel, tea, light citrus hops, Flavor also of the caramel malts, toffee, faint hop bitterness. Seemed to be a bit of oxidation setting in on this one. Strykzone (1504), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 30, 2006 Plenty of hops with a mix of citrus makes for a nice nose. Some pine can also be found. This brew by Tommyknocker is a nice looking tea color with almost no foam. There is a hint of lacing, but just a hint. First taste is certainly hops with a small amount of tartness. There is equal part bitterness with the tartness. Neither overpower and a nice balance is found. This is often attempted but rarely successfully so. At the bottom of the glass some malts popped up.
Very smooth beer with a nice personality. Holdwine (909), Beertimore, Maryland, USA

Nice floral hop nose with touches of citrus, toast, and toffee. Good floral hop bite up front, lightly citric throughout, with a toasted sweet malt backbone kickin in late. Light to medium bodied, light carbonation, floral hop finish. A good easy drinking EPA...
