tilldeath (72), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 7, 2009 A smooth porter almost close to a scottish ale, unique but not quite complex enough for a high rating. ben4321 (953), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 13, 2009 Location:
A pretty old rating, I believe this was tried on a trip to CO at least 4 years ago.
Overall Impression:
I have no notes on this one, just the rating. soyorganic (217), Denver, Colorado, USA Mar 13, 2009 Tap, pours black. Nice taste, low carbonation. A nice beer with chocolate notes followed by a nice malt taste. This reminded me of Old Chub. OC is better, but to be compared is good. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Jan 18, 2009

unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Dec 27, 2008 Draft at TacoMac, JohnsCreek. Dark brown pour. Light cocoa, nice roast scent. Flavor is lots of roasted grain. Kinda simple. Overall seems to be true to style. BustedFlat (552), Edina, Minnesota, USA Dec 4, 2008 Sampled at the Great Decatur Beer Tasting Festival in Georgia on 10/18/08. Cloudy dark borwn in appearance. Cocoa on the nose. Sweet roast malt, cocoa, coffeee and a touch of rye.
Nejhleader (924), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 23, 2008 Updated: Oct 25, 2008seemed kinda thin, but had a nice rye taste to it along with some traditional porter elements. had a good bit of a roast aftertaste. drjay44 (757), Salida, Colorado, USA Jul 6, 2008 Fair aroma, nice dark color, flavors blended well, but it was rather too thin on my tongue.
