A smooth porter almost close to a scottish ale, unique but not quite complex enough for a high rating.

Location: A pretty old rating, I believe this was tried on a trip to CO at least 4 years ago.

Overall Impression: I have no notes on this one, just the rating.

Tap, pours black. Nice taste, low carbonation. A nice beer with chocolate notes followed by a nice malt taste. This reminded me of Old Chub. OC is better, but to be compared is good.

Draft at TacoMac, JohnsCreek. Dark brown pour. Light cocoa, nice roast scent. Flavor is lots of roasted grain. Kinda simple. Overall seems to be true to style.

seemed kinda thin, but had a nice rye taste to it along with some traditional porter elements. had a good bit of a roast aftertaste.

Fair aroma, nice dark color, flavors blended well, but it was rather too thin on my tongue.
