| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2005 Draught @ Tommy Knocker in Idaho Springs, CO. Deep burgundy color. Pleasing aroma showing an emphasis on the use of rye, along with hints of caramel and chocolate malts. Initially a pleasing flavor of cocoa, raisin and coffee beans is present, until it tames significantly into almost nothing on the finish. If they could have rounded out the flavor a bit more, this would have been great. ratman197 (3224), Arvada, Colorado, USA
