Commercial Description:
A slightly tart, refreshing pale ale made with raspberries, blueberries and other natural fruits. Just as the cinnamon black bear on our label craves the flavor of mountain tundra berries, you'll find our Tundrabeary Ale to be irresistibly delicious.

12oz bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy raspberry amber color with a thin white head that settles quickly. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of honey, berries, sugary ceral, grapes, strawberry jam, fresh ripe fruit, some slight malt. Flavor is also floral and sweet with notes of malt, fresh ripe berries, honey, syrupy jam, hints of grass and spice. Generally light body with a sweet and fruity finish.

Bottle opened at Case and Keg in Boca. Hazy orangish color. Aroma is full of berries and malt. Flavor has a mixture of berries, tartness, malts and really this isn’t very good.

Pours a dark cloudy orange copper with a medium white head. Aroma of tart fruit, blueberries and wild berries, and mild caramel. Taste of tart blueberries and wild berries with a caramel backbone.

Taster at the pub - sort of rosy orange color with no real head. It smells sweet tarty off the top, muddled with corn chips. The flavor is definitely berries, but it doesn’t blend well.

Pours hazy magenta with 1-finger off-pink head. Nose is raspberry, cherry, earthy malt, peat. Tastes sweet, of raspberry syrup, plus some earthy, malt, and hop notes throughout. Not a prize winner, but a refreshing summer beer that I wouldn’t hesitate to drink again.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright berry red color with a medium sized khaki head. The aroma was musty and off with a light berry undertone. The flavor was tart and tangy blueberry and other vague berries that turns a bit dry towards the long, tart finish. Nice but with notable flaws.

Weirdly orange brown with a pink rose hue. lots of rolling carbonation within but it does not have that bubble on the palate. Very unique aroma which is sweet yet almost repulsive and slightly volatile. On the tongue some kinda a berry is detected in there but it has a different flavor than anything I tasted as a fruit beer. Yes, there is a hint of sourness or lambic nay I say, but is is not really palatable sourness. Goes down but could not drink two of these in a row.
