| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 22, 2009 Bottle pours a clear golden orange color with a slight pinkish hue. Has a minimal off-white head. Aroma has a bit of mustiness to it along with noticeable cranberry. Flavor is very sweet and dominated by more cranberry and raspberry notes. Reminds me more of a cranberry juice than a beer. nearbeer (1862), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 10, 2009 12 oz. Clear copper with a lasting 1/2 inch of foam. Pleasant, earthy cinnamon-apple nose is lightly tainted by whiffs of metallic fruit. Flavor is mixed sweet and tart berries all the way from start to finish. Some caramel in there as well, with some drying grass and wood notes on the finish. Light-medium body is silky soft, lightly tingly, and refreshing. Kinda sweet, but hey its a fruit beer. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 11, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours light red and hazy. Nose is a bit putrid with some berry flavors. Taste is a bit acidic with a strange mix of berry flavor-sort of like a fruit drink. No detectable alcohol. Not all that bad but not sustainable through an entire bottle. Very odd beer.
