DruncanVeasey (1916), No. 46, Leicestershire, England Jan 4, 2009 Red amber rocky pour fizzing steadily. But it is in a weizen. Nose warms up with rose, blackcurrant, choc with orange oil, floral tangy hops and malt nuttiness in equal measure. Clinging woolly froth, nibble of Terrys, silky milk choc malts drying into toasty, resiny bitterness. Enjoyable, balanced and surprisingly festive.
