Pours a semi hazy amber brown with a very small white head. Medium sweet aroma with pears, light caramel and nutty. Flavor is very nutty (from the Maris Otter I am sure), malty sweet and a very light earthiness. Low carbonation, light bodied. One of the Best Bitters I have had out of a bottle.

Dec 26, 2009 Bottle from Keg Liquor. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart bitter prune aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable soft brew.

Dec 13, 2009 Pours a mice mellow dark gold ber with a tight off white head. Aroma is malt and some light citrus hops. Really ootj palate easy to drink. Nice session beer.

Nov 14, 2009 Dark brown pour with a beige head. Aroma of light malt and some caramel. Low carbonation, easy to drink. Light fruit. a little sweet. Tasty. Leaves a nice aftertaste. A little lacing.

Nov 1, 2009 [2525-20091011] 500mL bottle. Fruity apple yeast tea cranberry aroma. Hazy, light brown orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter cranberry-apple tea flavour has a nice finish. Medium body. Interesting to try.

Oct 25, 2009 2009-10-11. Lightly hazy amber body, beige head. Mild aroma, lightly caramel kissed toasty malt. 6+ Flavour is similar, sweet malt base, dry toasty malt accents, caramel notes. Average plus palate is a touch flat. Likely a pleasant cask candidate. Pleasant, simple, decent session brew. Bottle from the UK c/o Mabel’s brother.

Oct 10, 2009 bottle - Poured murky brownish yellow color with thick foaming head that quickly faded.
Aroma - caramel apples and sweet pears.
Flavor - tasted like the aroma... apples, pears and some sweet caramel malt.
Palate - Light/medium bodied with average carbonation. Goes down easy and finish is somewhat bitter.
Overall - I am actually surprised by this beer. Paid $1 for this beer and liked it. Its nothing that great but easy to drink and very cheap!!
