33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown to amber with a hue off-white head. Sweet malty and slight spiced aroma. Flavour is slight sweet caramel malty with a bit of spices. Finish is soft caramel malty with a slight spice note into the finish. Nice but not fantastic.

At the vonk slijterij in zaandam, dark brown, créme foamy full head, kandy, caramel, not very complex, bit boring

Draught. Dark coppery red with beige head. Aroma of wet dog (are they cleaning the pipes / glasses properly at La Paon, Brussels?). Light body with good carbonation. Dark malt sweetness balanced with some bitterness in finish. Spices and bananas are apparent, but so is some wet dog.

On tap @ Café Gollem, a few weeks ago. Brown colour, big head. Aroma of roasted malts, some dark fruits, yeast. Taste is roasted malts, some dark chocolate and dark fruits. Very dry mouthfeel, a bit watery.

On tap. Pours brown with a medium long lasting white/beige creamy head. Lots of dark fruits and candy store in the aroma that contains a good malt base. Good malty taste with sweet fruits and raisins.

33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex, yet easy to drink, hazy, good head, good brew, the best of the Tongerlo-range
