On tap at Cafe de Zwart. Very good, full dubbel. Tall head. Caramel, malty flavour with lacey texture. Fruit flavours.

Dec 6, 2008 Thin head back to mild lace cover,good carb in a red/brown ale.Aroma malt,caramel,plum,meaty.Flavour,fruit,plum,banana,brown sugar,malt,a nutty touch,roasted wheat.Finish the flavour seems to cut short,a bit gutless in taste.

Oct 31, 2008 bottle, pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma is of carmel and candied sugar. Taste is nice and slightly sweet with some carmel and burnt sugar notes followed by a nice wallop of bitterness that ends dry. The mouth is light with moderate carbonation. I like it!
