| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 18, 2006 Tooheys seem to be distancing themselves from this 2.3% abv "full flavoured light". So should beer-drinkers. You have to look pretty hard to find the brewer’s name on the can. You also have to look pretty hard to find much to like here. The aroma is vintage Tooheys wet cardboard and metallic POR with a few honey notes. Thin in the limbs, with a dry, metallic finish. Gassy. Some honey sweetness and better bitterness than some of their higher abv beers. Funnily enough, it looks better than most LNN brews, pouring an intense gold with a rich lather of lasting foam. By no means the worst in the range. (375ml can from Amatos. Best before 7/5/07, or ideally not at all) DaveBeer (3), Rooty Hill, Australia does not count | 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Aug 18, 2005 I bought this beer with 4 mates when I was 16. $5 each for a case (30 I think). 2 cans and none of us were even tipsy. Had to go and cut some hose from the neighbours to make a beer bong for the rest and was still standing. Lucky their parents had a case of VB other wise the night would have been lost. Hope they don’t make Blue anymore. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden

Fatty and lightly metallic with thin mouthfeel, Dry with ashy, resiny finish and a hint of raisin. There’s worse low alcs, but that doesn’t mean that this beer is any good. mullet (801), Melbourne, Australia
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Sep 27, 2004 Surprisingly dark - amber I’d say with an OK head. Sweet toffee aroma with some yeast. Tastes sweet and caramelly with stewed fruits. Flabby but not that watery which is a surprise. No hop and some faint metal in the finish. Some nasty spirit presence occasionally. Nothing that good about it but it’s certainly not that offensive. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Had an initial aroma of day old coffee. It still has a small coffee aroma. Overall, really not that bad. Light on everything- alcohol, flavor, aroma, palate. Over carbonated but refreshing. Crisp finish. AlphaOne (142), Australia

Slight grainyness with a little POR hoppiness. overall a bland watery beer, but not so bad when compared to some other Australian light beers.
