Very pale yellow body, big vicious bubbles, small ring of white bubbles sit atop.
Chalky bready aroma, cheap cask white wine funkiness, faint chemically green apple.
Watery body, dry, soft drink-like carbonation.
Oddly sweet, càndy apple flavour, with a yeasty finish.
Kinda nasty. Can’t help but think of TED whilst I drink it too, which is never a good thing. UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia

I didn’t expect much, and it was free, so I can’t really complain, but I would never buy it. Blockley (20), Sydney, Australia

There’s really not much you can expect from a cider branded with ’Tooheys Extra Dry’ - so at least it doesn’t let you down. It has a very weak, pale colour (even for a cider), a weak and typical cider aroma and has almost no head. As for flavour it is initially sweet (perhaps overly so), somewhat artificial and overly carbonated. This then follows on to a near flavourless finish and no aftertaste; very disappointing, but not surprising. To it’s credit however it is not unpalatable like most Tooheys brews, it is just very, very boring. Luckily for me though it was a free sample from work, so I wasted no money on it. A very slight apple flavour. It is very sweet for a medium cider as the Lion Nathan Press release describes it, probably due to the use of cane sugar.
