One drink and I poured it out. I know it was new to the shelf because it wasn’t there just 4 days before so it couldn’t be that old but it was by far the skunkiest and nastiest beer I’ve ever tried.

i hope i am not being too presumptuous but methinks most of us started out drinking and enjoying ordinary good tasting lagers and pales just like this. now forgive me but this has a real beer aroma from days gone bye and it is intense enough, as the Aussies know how to do it. God bless them all! a hop and oil can aroma and good tight and small carbonation with a malt and bit of mellow tropical fruit then bitter dry finish. sorry you can’t down this brew in my book. this is decent beer.

Draught (served too cold as is the Australian way). Appears clear yellow with a small white head. Nose is light malt with an unpleasant soapy character. Tongue is similar with a metallic finish. No hop presence to speak of. Don’t bother.

Pours clear, light straw, effervescent with little head or lacing. No wonder the "preferred" drinking method is straight out of the stubby. The Bad: tinny, metallic, chemical aroma and flavor. Tastes of slightly woody, generic mild hop extract (pride of ringwood), light hint of DMS, and very little else. Highly carbonated, best served ice cold to numb the off-tasting chemical compounds. The Good: Twist off caps have fun Aussie trivia underneath, and jackalopes are cool. Goes great with meat pies, sausage rolls, and any other items from the fry-o-lator. Plus, you can be the coolest person at your next Austalian BBQ and drink a real Aussie Lager actually produced in Australia.

This beverage was a leftover from a party we had a couple of weeks back. Unfortunately there is not much to report other than a toasty corn flavor and other generic pale lager characteristics. Avoid this if you can.

(bottle). Clear yellow color. Medium white head. Light yeast, aroma with a very light sweet maltiness. Light malt flavor. Short duration. Astringent finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

Golden pour. Decent head. Typical lager aroma with a grainy touch. Taste is fairly smooth with a creamy feel; much creamier than expected anyway and a tingle on the finish. Way better than Fosters.

Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden, orange colored brew. Light sweet brew. Grainy, refreshing.
