emacgee (1859), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Oct 7, 2009 WBF. Pours a hazy light gold with a one finger white head. Nose is sweet, some blueberry, mild acidity, wheat. Flavor is mildly sweet, some bluberry, mild acidic character, cereal grain. Palate is soft. dkachur (2313), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Sep 14, 2009 Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy peach color with a medium head. Average head retention and lacing. Served with blueberries in the beer, which is a cool effect, but kinda masks any other beer notes. Blueberry dominates the aroma aside from some faint bready notes. Taste is strong blueberries with faint caramel and toasted bread. Thin bodied and watery. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 25, 2009 on tap-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is blueberry. Taste is blueberry, sweet grain, hops bite. chandler0201 (341), Durham, North Carolina, USA May 22, 2009 Yellow pour with large white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma of lemon and some wheat and more citrus. Taste really did not remind me of blueberries that much, only a hint, more citrus than anything. Fails in stated flavor but drinkable otherwise. tarheels86 (700), Washington DC, USA May 9, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white cap that leaves little to no lacing. Aroma of lemon, wheat, grassy hops, orange peel, yeast. Taste is 100% blueberry cheesecake: lots of creamy texture and fresh blueberry accents. This is not a bad wheat beer nor a bad fruit ale.
