| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 16, 2009 An aroma of dried coco, a tad of molasses, and a hint of sour. Dark black with a brown head and lace. Semi sweet start with a dry finish. A light chocolate is the only flavor that I can put a finger on. A bit thin and watery. Not a very good porter, but a drinkable beer. tronraner (1933), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours mahogany with tight beige head. The aroma is roasty coffee with some caramel and wood notes, maybe distant smoke. The flavor is earthy hops, mild coffee, and some creamy bitter chocolate notes. Slightly sweet finish with nutty notes, not much aftertaste. Not special, but smooth drinking.
