Commercial Description:
A pale dry lager with light hopping and a touch of real mango juice. Designed to be a rereshing summer drink with a surprising non-sweet fruit character.

On tap. Had this a long time ago but it was simple enough to remember in detail. Obviously it is discontinued now. Pours a clear orange with no head- so no lacing. Not a great start. Aroma of canned mango, wheat, lemon, straw/hay. Taste is very watery with an obvious mango presence that is not sweet like added fruit juice but is more subtle as in making itself known through the malt and cereal grain flavors. Not sure what the purpose of the beer is but it is a very poor showing and significantly less impressive than their new fruit beer: the blueberry wheat.

Pours a light yellow with no head. Nice aroma of mango but the flavor was very lacking and kind of dry. Not one of their better beers.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear golden color. Head was one finger high and white. There was a little lace on the glass at the end. Aroma was fruit dominated, mostly mango and peach. Dry on the tongue with a pleasant fresh honey-touched cereal grain flavor accented by peach and mango. There were also some noble hops. Pretty decent.

Great for a light, refreshing summer beer. The flavor is subtle (more apparent in the aroma), and it’s not sweet (about the same sweetness as a Belgian white). Low alcohol content, so take it for what it’s worth.

clear yellow, wispy white head, sweet mango aroma, good mango flavor, only a touch of sweetness and even some light bitterness in the finish, the lack of sweetness makes it much better and more drinkable than the typical fruit beer,

Pours a lifeless yellow lager with mango juice added. I’ll give it a shot. Dilute clear yellow color with an extremely watery appearance. Frothy white head does not last long. No lacing. Aromas give off a smidge of fruitiness, but I can’t t ruly discern that it is mango. Spent grain huskiness with a splash of mystery fruit. Watery flavors. Hints of fruit juice, but nothing to write home about. Lifeless. I’ve typed far more than I needed to here. This is a waste of your time.
