Not a particularly deep or complex beer. Pretty watery. Cheap, but drinkably cheap.

Canned as "Leaderboard Trophy Lager". Pours with an whipped eggwhite head, huge and stiff... nice retention and great meringue lacing. It’s yeasty-haze straw lemon appearance goes well with the head. The nose was clean, with only a trace of bouquet, possibly some wheat. Immediate vivacious lemony citrus, with some wheat and a lightly dry-hopped back palate. The carbonation is perfect for the style, and the mouthfeel is light, crisp and refreshing. This is really not bad, especially for a summer brew to cleanse the palate and quench thirst... would make an excellent session beer. I’m not sure why the other ratings aren’t quite as high, but then again I’m the first one rating this under the "Trophy Lager" name. It may have undergone some changes over the past several months.

Nothing too spectacular here. A pretty plain lager. It was fresh, cold, smelled fine. Light, translucent gold color with a quickly receding white head. It’s def a better choice than the CBC version tho, probably the best locally brewed pale lager I’ve had.

On tap. Clear yellow. Typical pale lager, not much to say. Decent amount of grainy malt flavor, definitely more body than Carolina Brewery’s light beer just down the road.

Very clear pale yellow with a quickly fading head. Has a faint,slightly grainy aroma. Flavor has notes of grain, hay, some grass and light hops. Moderately sweet, light bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth creamy texture and lively carbonation. Not really what I would consider a good beer but it’s not the worst thing. Just kind of bland and lifeless.

From the can, pours a clear, pale, light green. Light, bubbly head that dissipates fairly quickly, but remains around the edge of the glass. Smells of green apples and freshly mowed grass. Tastes a little sour, grassy. Not great, but not bad.

appears gold on its own but almost a lemony-lime tint in the light. almost clear. minimal white head that quickly disippates. some lacing remains at top of inside rim. smells fresh and a bit citrus. tastes very grassy and some citrus.light body. light carbonation. clean and easy mouthfeel. For a light beer- this is a great one.

Can. Gold color, very hazy, with particulate matter, small quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is fruity slightly sweet and malty--pleasant. The flavor is similar. Nice summer type beer, and has a good finish.
