Tastes witty, with the applicable citrus and clove and dry spice elements. Not bad, but not a standout. GeneralGao (3076), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Best beer I have tasted at Top of the Hill so far. Hazy yellow with a lacy head. They served it with a nice orange wedge. The orange peel and coriander smell as good as they taste. Very smooth palate and finish. valejo (81), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 12, 2005 This is the best thing I’ve tried at Top of the Hill. Their white tastes like it should, although it isn’t really anything special. If you like this style, drink the Old Well White if you visit the restaurant. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 12, 2005 Draught. Appears the epitomical hazy golden ’witbier’ color with no head. Wasn’t served with a lemon either though I don’t mind. Aroma was sweet and citrussy and fruity and yeasty though very discrete. Flavor was also sweet and fruity and otherwise nondescript. A bit of sourness would have balanced this beer better. Mouthfeel was thin and uncarbonated. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 4, 2005 Draft at the brewery: Poured cloudy light yellow. I forgot to get ine without a fruit slice so it came with a slice of orange. Light yeast aroma, a little banana and some lemon and orange, maybe from the orange slice. Flavor was mild banana with a hint of orange. Had a corn like finish. This ranks well below the excellent wheat at Carolina Brewery.
