12oz can, thanks wilkie. Large, rocky beige head atop murky dark amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange, some bread. Taste is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, some caramel/bread, light pine. Medium body, some chewiness, light acidity. Some residual bitterness, but would not be mistaken for West Coast variants.

Tap at the brewpub on 2/2/08: Pours a transparent copper amber with a well-lacing froth of off-white head. Aroma of fruity fresh earthy grassy piny hops and some semi-sweet pale maltiness. Starts with a lightly toasty malty sweetness with some dandelion grassy hop flavor and a bitter dry finish. Needs some more balance and refinement.

Growler courtesy of Durhambeer. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, resin, tea, yeast, earthy. Tastes bitter with some resiny hints, spice, peppery, a touch of sweetness.

Copper color, with aroma of floral hops and some citrus. Tastes hoppy, floral, spicy, with a somewhat dry finish. I liked this one, and would drink it again any time.

This IPA pours a medium amber brown color from a 12oz can. Medium sized white foamy head, with good lacing and nice retention. The aroma is caramel malt and citrusy hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Nicely balanced IPA. Sweet malts to start and some long lasting bitter hops at the finish. Lively carbonation. I like canned IPAs. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Had this on tap at the brew pub in Chapel Hill. Clear, copper color. Average amount of carbonation. Pleasant, flowery nose. Carmel flavor with prominent flowery hoppy overtones. Hop bitterness is appropriate for an IPA. Crisp finish with some lingering bitterness. A respectable IPA.
