Sampled from Growler provided by Josh. 2006 version. Poured a dark copper / orange color (almost brown) with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, oranges, and pineapples. Tastes of caramel, vanilla, citrus, pine, bread and I was getting some plums. Nicely balanced. Light lacing left on the glass. Smooth and easy drinking.

Growler courtesy of kms399: Pours a dark copper amber with a big frothy light tan head. Fresh hoppy aroma has some dry toasty caramel balance. Body starts with some nice caramel malty sweetness well-balanced with lots of hoppy bitterness and a crisp, toasty finish. Not as hoppy as some IPAs, but still well done. Thanks Ken!

Growler thanks to CaptainCougar. Poured a golden amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma had a decent amount of floral and perfumey hops. A little earthy as well. Malty flavor had some hop mixed in with a mild bitter finish.

GABF 2006: Clear brown amber color with a large off-white head. Big citrus aroma followed by diacetyl. Hoppy citrus flavor with a light malt. Mild bitter finish. This taste would have scored a 6 A and 7 F.

Amberish color. Slightly hoppy... much less so than the Seven ESB I just downed before this one. Good malt balance with the hops and a slight floralness as well. Pretty tasty; I actually liked it better than Masala Mama!

Thanks to Josh for sharing this 2006 Anniversary Ale from a growler. Pours a translucent ruby amber with a foamy off white medium head that left some lacing. Aroma of orange, floral hops, caramel, hints of pine, various fruits and grapes. Flavor was malty, some roast, hop bitterness that lingers and yeast.

Aroma of fruit with floral and herbal notes. Red, dark, and cloudy. Full bodied. The taste and aroma reminded me of New Glarus Hop Hearty ale. Excellent.

Brown/Amber Coloring...Darker Highlights on Top ..Blending to the rest of yoru Brew. Pretty Hoppy Aroma and Flavor...Not Horribly so, but Hard to Distinguish Other Flavors as Well.. Little Dry. Decent, but Didn’t Do Much For Me.
