Jul 4, 2007 RBSG 2007 Pub Crawl - on draft at the brewpub. Mildly hazy gold with a white head. Grassy and citrus nose and flavor. Nice lace. Flavor is slightly off somehow, like the grass went stale or something. Still, pretty good.

Jul 3, 2007 Draft... RBSG 07... Lightly hazy golden ale with a small, frothy, white head. Decent retention. Big-time PNW hop nose emphasizes lots of pink grapefruit, other citrus and tropical fruits, along with an earthy suggestion of fallen pine needles. Medium to heavily bitter, grapefruit pith flavor with just a touch of tangy acidity. Medium to full-bodied and extremely tannic with tingly carbonation. Lengthy, very bitter, dry finish.

Jul 1, 2007 Tap at RBSG. Pours a hazy deep golden, light copper with a foamy lasting white head- nice lace as well. Aroma is herbal, earhty hops somewhat floral and grassy as well, but pretty intense for an english style IPA. Good pale malt backbone but it is skewed towards the english hops. Tons of EKG grassiness, floral and an earthy almost piney bitterness. Smooth and very drinkable. I prefer the Masala Mama, but this was nice.

Jun 30, 2007 Sample from tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy deep orange leaving rim from the white head. Aroma is mild malty, not strongly hoppy but presence. flavour is slight citric, strong malt profile with good hoppy bitterness taking over into the finish.

Jun 28, 2007 Hazy dark amber body with beige head and lovely lacing. Aroma is mild, some orange/floral, light dusky. Taste is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, dry. Medium body, acidic, some resin.

Jun 27, 2007 RBSG 2007 Pub Crawl: Poured a hazy gold in color with a white head. Aroma, light citrus and floral notes with some pale malts. Flavor, citrus, floral hops, pale malts, sweet on the front end with a mild floral bitter finish.

Jun 25, 2007 RBSG 2007. Golden body that looks a bit too filtered. Decent hop profile but seemed to have some floral qualities that distracted. Bitter palate. I didn’t finish it because there were better beers to be had.
