Growler @ DLD: Poured a copper color with a white head. Some pine and caramel, in aroma and flavor, some citrus as well. Pretty hoppy for an amber, there was a dry bitter finish to this. Quite tasty.

Growler shared at DLD - Pours amber with a nice tan head and some lace. Aromas of slight grapefruit, apricot, and caramel malts. Flavor is grapefruit, apricot, bread, and caramel. Soft carbonation and easy to drink. Pretty nice amber.

Reddish amber color. Aromas of mango, cashew nut bread; sweet, and lively. Very bitter flavor with lovely shades of pineapple atop notes of garlic and mint. Some pleasant toasted malt flavor underneath. Crisp and clean in the mouth; the perfect session.

I’m surprised by the low ratings. First, this is without a doubt a pale ale. This beer is very heavily hopped and I was thinking of Masala Mama while drinking it. Amber color, and that is the only thing amber about this beer. Bitter, but good hop flavor. Very heavily carbonated, and shot lived but tall white foam on top of the beer. A winner from Town Hall. I suggest a change to APA.

Dark amber copper color with off white head. Lots of hops in the aroma and a similar flavor. Kind of a bitter tinge to this one though.

Copper Color with Offwhite Head. Faint Malt and Alot of Hops on the Nose. Crisp Medium Mouthfeel and Body. Light Malt Undertones...Light Caramel Notes..Alot of Amarillo Hops Present Themselves on the Palate, Also Giving You a Sturdy but Not Over the Top Introduction to What Amarillo Hops are All About. Very Hoppy for an Amber but a Nice Drinker.

American & English Caramel malts, all Amarillo hops. Clear, coppery-crimson appearance, under prodigious foam, cream-toned, off-whitish. Abundant Amarillo aroma, crisp orange/citrus/lime flavors, quite vibrant, and lively, mixing well with malt aromatics underneath. Malt flavors becomes more prominent once meeting the mouth, caramel and an undercurrent of chocolate, with the Amarillo hop flavors still skating on top, a great blend of sweet and bitter. Hoppier than a traditional amber, without quite the malt content, typical of Town Hall, which means nothing but delight for this drinker. More sessionable than than their normal pale ales and IPAs, but the hops keep the tongue happy. Toasty malt character, also keeps this one interesting. If this were fashioned like the Amarillo PA, or any of their singular hop variety ales, we’d see much paler malt used, I’m sure. I like the difference we see in this, as the blending of flavors from malt and hop are the dance that takes the spotlight. Take a bow!
