Town Hall Black Oat

Dark red and nearly still without carbonation. Red color. Lots of oak, dry, some vanilla. Minimal hops. The fruit shows up in the sour flavor, which makes this beer much like a Flemish ale. Town Halls most innovative new recipe in some time.

Dark red color with no head. Very light grainy aroma. Solid fruit flavor, a bit on the bitter side. Not easily identifiable as blackberry, just a general fruity flavor. The oats settle into the background for some baseline sweetness. I liked the blueberry better, but still good.
