Commercial Description:
This American-style golden ale is our lightest, in both color and flavor. Bright Spot is brewed with locally malted 2-row barley and the finest American, Czech and German hops lending a well-balanced, refreshing taste. A compliment to nearly any of our menu choices.

On tap RBSG. A clean golden pour wth a thick white lacing and light head. A flavor that is malty but changes to a bit of a papery flavor and a tad of hop bitter at the finish. An aroma of light malt, corn. Nothing bad on the nose just not much there. The palate was all you could expect from the style. It was crisp and clean but a tad fizzy. Very good offering for the style.

Out of a sampler at the pub during 07 RBSG. Pale straw gold color with a thin white head and a light nose with some citrus. This is a light, crispy beer with light caramel sweetness and some grassy hops in the finish. Inoffensive golden ale.

RBSG 2007 Pub Crawl - on draft at the brewpub. Clear straw with a white head. Perfumey grain nose. Light, grainy flavor. Meh. For the masses, I suppose.

Draft... RBSG 07... Clear yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention and nice lacing. I’m not pulling much out of the aroma or flavor; some spent mash and light sweetness but that’s about all. Light to medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and intermediate carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish.

Sample from tap at the brewpub. Clear golden yellow with huge white head. Aroma is light hoppy. Flavour is soft floral hoppy going into a bitter finish blended with grassy notes and light malty. Light, not watery and still tasteful.

RBSG 2007 Pub Crawl - not so bright at all. Gold, creamy white head. Nose held notes of wet grains, cooked veggies, and touches of fruit. Flavor thank god didn’t have veggie, but just light touches of florals and grainy fruitiness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, lightly bittersweet finish. I guess it was ok, but the veggie thing? Maybe it was just me...

RBSG 2007 Pub Crawl: Poured a clear gold in color with a white head. Aroma, light malts, some bready notes. Flavor, crisp pale malts, yeast, some slight grassy floral notes. Not bad.

On tap at Town Hall during the RBSG 2007 Pub Crawl. Clear pale golden body with a small frothy white head. Grainy light honey aroma. Light honey flavor with a grainy finish.
