Commercial Description:
This American-style golden ale is our lightest, in both color and flavor. Bright Spot is brewed with locally malted 2-row barley and the finest American, Czech and German hops lending a well-balanced, refreshing taste. A compliment to nearly any of our menu choices.

Absolutely positively not the "bright spot" of the beers at Town Hall. Was a light golden color with decent lacing, had a soapy taste, slightly sour. Ugh.

Bright malty aroma, golden color. Nutty malty and light hoppy flavor. Slightly dry on the finish. Typical light ale. Not overly memorable. Light.

I have loved every Town Hall beer that has hit my lips so far. This is the only exception! Pale gold colour, white sodaish head and little aroma. Maybe just of some dusty field like aromas. The taste was way to fizzy and not at all complex. It really reminded me of what your standard BMC would be if it was good. I think it is, however, a smart brew for them as it appealed to all of the non beer drinkers in my party.

First off I do not normally frink this really light brews but I was driving so chanced it. Well if you like a yeast doughy lighty hopped brew than this is for you. It was nicely done and refreshing but no complexity.

Pale gold, white head. French bread aromas, warm and yeasty. Fresh cut hay, light mint and earthy. Warm bread flavor that falls off rather abruptly. A bit thin palate. Not particularily memorable, but a pretty clean ale never-the-less.

clear yellow with small head and decent lacing. aroma was sweet with some peach notes. average carbonation with a light body and thin texture, this was lacking character.

Easy drinking beer. This one aint gonna win any awards, but it’s not trying to do that. Just doesn’t match up to any of Town Hall’s other beers. But it appeals to the masses. Good for beer drinkers who don’t like the taste of beer. You know, I think this scores similiar to say, Michelob because the comparison beers are so much better at Town Hall. Would be interested in rating this in a taste test compared to some of the popular macro beers. I might have to give it a slightly higher score then.
