Clear, golden hued, good chalk white head.
Minor citrus tones in aroma, light spice.
Taste: brisk carbonation, moderate hops. Lemon and traces of orange. Light bodied, lean texture. No yeast character or even much of a wheat flavor. Filtered? Tastes, and looks, so.
I didn’t derive too much pleasure from this one. Drinks down okay, but I didn’t enjoy it enough to want another. (Had two pints on two seperate visits, a week apart.)
Also, this is one of the first times, I haven’t taken a growler of a new Town Hall beer home. That says something.
No biggie, the next one will be great.

Oct 7, 2008 A light wheat aroma with hints of citrus. A light wheaty body with a water finish. Not much here unfortunately.

Aug 3, 2008 Another seasonal on tap at the brewery. A nice, refreshing light beer. Aroma was not strong but had nice notes of citrus, wheat and yeast. Was golden in color with a slightly off white head. Flavor was kind of on the bland side but well balanced. Couldn’t make a distinction as to what stood out the most, but the flavors of wheat and yeast were there along with apricot and lemon. The beer went down incredibly smooth, had no bite or bad after flavors. Definitely could tip this back all day.
