Oct 13, 2007 Aroma was orange and citrus with a crisp maltiness. Taste is very nice orange/citrus nuanced with a crisp malt. Very respectable. Finishes with a resiny bitterness that lingers ever so slightly.

Oct 4, 2007 Draft @ Brewpub: Bronze color, no head, light lacing. Nose of bright lime and orange, plenty of citrus and plain clean sweet malts, a bit of zesty sweet/tart notes though. The flavor is balanced, nice and floral with a sticky finish.

Aug 27, 2007 Pours a dark amber with a fluffly white head. Sugar, sweet malt, anmd citrus on the nose. First early on the palate was candi sugar, finish8 by a massive hop finish. Very good!

Aug 19, 2007 Dark amber, great lacing. Nose of sweet malts, caramel, pine and orange. Taste of sweet malts, caramel, citrus, pine, and bitter bitter finish. Good balance. Wonderful mouthfeel. Second one as good as the first.

Aug 8, 2007 Draft on 8/2/07. Clear orange pour. Aroma of caramel, pine and citrus. Too far to the caramel side to suit my tastes; a little bit beyond ’balanced’. Some grassy hops at the finish. I had much higher hopes for this.

Aug 3, 2007 Updated: Aug 21, 2007Originally reviewed back on 3/30/04. Received 4.85 score. Added to my RB list to check "Minnesota" as a beer state consumed. Growler trade(s) with Al (who else?) many times over the years. Solid hop bomb with hop oils and resins and juicy fruitiness dripping from the glass. Solid copper coloring and healthy head. Smells absolutely stunning. A favorite of mine. The hype is worthy.
