This one poured a clear light amber color with a very big white head which is quite impressive out of a growler. Aroma was very clean citrus and piney hops, but nothing that punches you in the face. Flavor was very nice piney flavors but not extremely bitter. This is one of the best balanced IPAs ive ever had. More mlatiness than one would expect. Not a hop bomb, but a damn good beer and a bit more towards an APA in my opinion

What a nice juicy hoppy beer that doesn’t make my tongue fall off. Smooth and sweet and balanced with great use of hops. Citrus and almost tropical. Really nice.

Consumed at Pilsner Peters Spring Gathering. Wow, to me in aroma this almost beats Pliny the Elder, which is one of my favorite beers aromatically speaking. Huge citrus and pine aroma and flavor.. just awesome.

Growler acquired via trade. Pours a deep reddish-amber color with a lasting two-finger off-white head. Great citrusy hop aroma with sweet malt and tropical fruits also present. Flavor is really well-balanced with sweet caramel malt and pineapple/grapefruit hops. Medium bodied with a crisp finish. A really great IPA.

Growler that I brought to PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. But I would not have had said growler to bring there were it not for the remarkably awesome tytoanderso. Big thanks to Ty for this one. Pours a clear orange with a medium white head. Clean citrus and and pineapple notes, with a soft caramel undertone. Very hoppy, and nice and crisp. Medium bodied, with a bit of sweet caramel. Ends with a nice grapefruit and quinine bitterness. Very solid.

This is yet another brewer that I never sampled until PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. Thank you to whoever brought the growler. Pours a clear, slightly darkened gold with a moderate off-white head. I really love the aroma of this beer, which is sweet lemon, grapefruit, sugar, and caramel. The flavor takes a step back from the aroma and is more decidedly hoppy with a much milder malt presence along with grapefruit and lemon. Bitter finish that does not linger after the swallow.

Growler: Orange pour with a tan head. Resiny aroma- a touch catty, but mildly, with fruity hop notes of apricot. Rounded carbonation. Resiny/catty flavor. Some caramelized barley comes though underneath the piny sharp bitterness. A typical IPA; nothing stands out about it.

Growler at Peter’s NY gathering - thanks to the responsible party - this is a no-nonsense IPA, with the earthy, grapefruit notes of California all over the place - almost juicy, with loads of hay, grass, orange peel - earthy yet crisp - some bitter herbal notes near the end - moderate malt sweetness balances it, and keeps it from becoming too dry - quite nice.
