rauchbier (2882), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Mar 17, 2008 Bottle, from Morrisons, Grimsby. Gold, thin white head and gentle condition. Low sweet malt in the nose with a touch of starchiness and a distant floral hop note. Pleasant hoppy bitterness and low grain in the mouth, lingering bitterness and a slight citrusy fruitiness in the finish.
greenmanalishi (228), Leicestershire, England Dec 31, 2008 Bottle. Mostly what you’d expect from a green bottled Czech lager, though it has a thin-medium body (instead of just thin) and was slightly sweeter and less grassy than expected. On the downside it doesn’t offer the same crisp sharpness that most of these beers are good for. serkoptato (24), Budapest, Hungary Dec 27, 2008 A světlý ležák 5% alkoholtartalmú, meglehetősen átlagos, közepesen kesernyés, könnyen iható, hiba nélküli hétköznapi világos sör. Nagyjából ez az összes jó és rossz, amit el lehet róla mondani. bobinlondon (492), Harrow, Greater London, England Dec 25, 2008 Bottle at home. Very middle of the road czech lezak. Pretty bland but pleasent and innoffensive. Fairly malty without alot of hops. AsaNewt (113), blackpool, Lancashire, England Oct 29, 2008 although predictably cereally and a bit on the watery side. the flavour is quite sharp and hoppy and sort of refreshing. Not unpleasent Beth101 (186), West Yorkshire, England Oct 19, 2008 Initial horrible smell of catswee/skunk, but this settles into a sweet hoppy smell which is much more pleasant. Light amber colour large white head with lacing on the glass. Tastes of hops and is quite bitter.
