omhper (10437), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 20, 2002 Amber colour. Malty with crystal malt flavour, some vanilla, a hint of grapefruit and a surprsingly low bitterness for being an American pale ale. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 26, 2002 Light orange colour; caramel, slightly chewy. Very straightforward, lightish character - typical Troeg’s. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 09/01/2006

argo0 (6167), Washington DC, USA Apr 7, 2002 Pleasant hoppy smell hangs gently above the lightly foamed light copper-colored body. The beer is well-balanced, with slight maltiness keeping the hops from overwhelming it. The malt’s Belgian origins become more noticeable as the beer warms. The aftertaste is solid bitterness. Not a great beer, but certainly a very good one. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Nov 19, 2006 Bottle. Amber colour. Aroma shows some lightly piney, fruity hops (lychee), with subtle notes of caramely malt. Palate is soft, with some lightly sweet caramel flavours and fruity hops, which were both noticed in the aroma, so no surprises in the flavour. Straight forward and quite pleasant.
