Commercial Description:
Revisiting Scratch #3, we take the same Tripel recipe, add beet and cane sugars to the kettle, and run the wort through our hopback brimming with juniper berries, coriander and yarrow flowers.

Inspired by the herbaceous nose of gin, the berries and flowers give a slight pine/citrus aroma with floral undertones. Scratch #8 has a dry, yeasty finish and noticeable alcohol warming when consumed.

(12oz bottle, thanks mj) Small off-white head atop hazy apple juice body. Aroma is moderately sweet, bubblegum, straw, some orange, honey. Taste is moderately sweet, bubblegum, orange, alcohol, light berry. Some alcohol burn. Sticky medium-full body.

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin, stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity Belgian malts with a good coriander spice and honey complexity. Starts sweet and sugary with some bready yeasty flavor before a slightly thinner peppery finish. Pretty authentic and enjoyable, while hiding the alcohol fairly well.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and lighlty hazy yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of apples, spices (I can’t quite make them out, maybe ginger), yeast, and some berries. Tastes of fruitiness, spices, citrus, and yeast. Some alcohol in the finish.

Bottle…Thinkin’ ‘Bout Thirteen Hours O’ Drinkin’ (tew man wrecking crew)... Cloudy golden ale with almost no head (small and white). The nose is sweet and spicy with esters of banana and Bazooka bubble gum. Full-bodied and sticky with dancing carbonation. Mostly sweet and spicy with alcohol warmth. Lightly tangy. Wow! Way too spicy... way too sweet… way too hot... overdone! Bottle provided by mgumby10!
