| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2003 This suburban sports bar has had a brewery on premises for quite some time. They produce a lager and an ale, though from what I've heard only one at a time. Old Mill Ale is a dark amber ale with pleasing fruity-hoppy aroma, reminiscent of leaves, pears and maybe melon. The body matches these flavours with a slight bitterness in the beginning, followed by a sticky maltiness, a product of the extract nature of the brewery, but not offputting. Carbonation is nice and low, making for a pleasantly drinkable pint.
